Event to support Waves For Water

On the eve of World Water Day 2014, Hurley and BLISSS magazine will host an art fundraiser aimed at supporting Waves For Water in their efforts to bring clean-water access to nations in need.

Please join us Friday, March 21 from 6-9p.m. for Born From Water, a water-inspired art show, featuring 30 artists including the likes of Tim Hendricks, Tokyo Hiro, C.R. Stecyk III, Greg ‘Craola’ Simkins and 2Shae. Proceeds from the event will be matched by Hurley and donated to Waves For Water to benefit 100K World Water Day.

“Water-based charity is such a big platform for Hurley, and so is art,” said Jason Maloney, Hurley Art Director. “Why not mix the two together? We’re excited to get the art community involved in something unique that will ultimately benefit a really great cause.”

Hosted in Hurley Headquarters’ Town Hall, the Hurley Printing Press will be on hand screening limited-edition event tees. Hurley H2O’s partner, The Ecology Center, will also be on site to educate on water conservation and provide water for guests, while DJ JOSHR will be spinning real records, and food and beverage will be provided by generous sponsors. The event is free and open to the public, with limited-edition posters from KASL available to guests. All art sales are cash only.
